First Place (Fifth Grade) FARMER HARMIN There once was a man named Harmin Who spent all his time just farmin' He started to boil Guys weren't saving soil And he thinks that's just alarmin'.
Second Place (Fifth Grade) LITTER IS BITTER Pick up litter If you don't you are just being bitter I'll give you a choice Speak up and use your voice Will you be bitter or just simply pick up litter?
Third Place (Fifth Grade) MR. FOTTER WASTES WATER There was a man named Mr. Fotter He always wasted lots of water Then one Thursday morning He received a warning "The water's gone" said Mrs. Lotter
First Place (Seventh Grade) CROP ROTATION The farmer's crop he might switch; The soil he tries to keep rich. Crop Rotation Is Conservation. The soil stays nice and rich.
Second Place (Seventh Grade) BUFFER STRIPS Buffer strips are really great, They act like a little gate, To keep the soil Not in turmoil, And stays in a very good state.
Third Place (Seventh Grade) WATERWAY I built a waterway, I really can say, "They hold the dirt; It does not hurt, And the grass we use for hay.
