Cash or check are the only two forms of payment accepted. Checks must be payable to the Franklin County Conservation District.
The Conservation District has one full time District employee; so we recommend calling 785-242-1109 extension 31 before you stop by to confirm District staff is available to assist you with copies of flood plain maps.
Flood plain maps are also available to view online for free at the FEMA Map Service Center: http:ww.fema.gov/business/nfip/mscjumppage.shtm#1
Under the heading "View Digital and Paper Flood Maps" click on the MSC link in the first sentence. On the left side of the screen there will be a box for "product search by" select flood maps and enter the street address you are searching for.
